An Orange You Glad It's Fall Pumpkin Tablescape

August 10, 2026 by Beth Wilson in Tablescapes

I know that Fall isn’t here yet but my son who is in marketing tells me that if I want to share tablescaping ideas with others so that they can use them if they want I should post my tablescapes about a month before the season or holiday starts. I often am not organized enough to do that but right now I am a bit ahead, hence this Fall tablescape while temperatures are still warm in many places. When I saw this Benson Mills Bountiful Harvest Destin tablecloth at Macy’s online a few months ago I knew exactly how I would use it on a Fall tablescape. The outlined white pumpkins design would work perfectly with all the white pumpkins that I had bought for another Fall tablescape that I did two years ago. You can see that tablescape, 26 other Fall tablescapes that I have created, as well as 300+ other tablescapes of mine on my blog here: https://www.whispersoftheheart.com/tablescapes .

I looked for a white pumpkin salad plate for several years and I couldn’t find one that I liked until I found these pumpkin shaped salad plates at World Market online a couple of years ago. I really like the simple white design with no other colors to prevent color clutter. It lets the one color rule. I wanted this table to contain two simple bold colors, orange and white.

I love the orange color and the white edge on this dinner plate. This dinner plate was a Rachael Ray design, the pattern was called Rise. I bought them online somewhere several years ago but I can’t remember where. You can read about what you need to think about when you are buying dinner plates here.

This is a Mikasa Color Spectrum Charger in the color Alpine White. I have this charger in several different colors now and I bought them all on Ebay as I saw them over a few years. The Internet says that this color pattern was only made between 1992 and 1993. I am not sure that is true but in any case they are no longer being manufactured. I had been trying to get six of this white color and pattern charger for years with no success until a few years ago when suddenly I found six at different places online after occasional google searches. You need to have patience when you are looking for things for tablescaping, that’s for sure!

This is my newest flatware set purchase. This flatware set is labeled Mepra Inox and the pattern is called Fantasia in White. You can find this flatware online for sale on several different sites. I have this flatware now in blue, black, white, tan, orange, green, and yellow. It comes in several other colors also. It is very difficult to find flatware sets in different colors so I have my eye on a few other colors as well when it goes on sale again. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying flatware here.

I think that these burnt orange cotton napkins came from World Market many years ago. I found the white metal pumpkin napkin rings on Amazon a couple of years ago. To read about the What, When and How of napkin rings please click here.

I was looking for my solid white pumpkin place card holders when I saw these white wire ones. I realized that they were a good match for the white lines on the tablecloth so I decided to use them instead. I think that I bought them at Michael’s a few years ago. To read about the what, where and how of place card holders, please click here.

The white glass goblet on the left came from HomeGoods last year and it had a label that said Barsk Original. It’s difficult to find white goblets so I was delighted to find this one. I think I bought the orange glass goblets on the right at Ross or T.J. Maxx. They were some of the first goblets that I bought many years ago and I use them more often than I thought I would. I often use them during Fall and Halloween time. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying goblets for your tablescaping collection including the colors that I use most often here.

When I saw this large white stoneware soup tureen at Pottery Barn online a few years ago I knew that it would be the perfect centerpiece to use on Fall tablescapes. I love the matching soup ladle too.

I added a Mosser white milk glass salt and pepper set to this tablescape that I bought online from Everything Kitchens.

This white ceramic butter dish is marked 10 Strawberry Street. I can’t remember where I bought it but it may have been HomeGoods.

I am looking forward to Fall weather, that’s for sure!
