Bunnies and Carrots on a Spring Easter Tablescape

Some of my tablescapes that I have created over the years are ones that I go back and look at again and again because they are favorites and this is one of them. I posted it a few years ago and it was a variation of one that I did in 2019. You can see that tablescape here. I made several changes to it and you can see how I changed the style and feel of the tablescape from that tablescape to this tablescape. I found the tablecloth at HomeGoods a few years ago. It was made by Three Little Bunnies, Farmer’s Market. I bought the matching napkins too but I decided not to use them on this table setting because the tablecloth is so busy and I wanted some solid color to break it up a bit.

When I found the carrots tablecloth I remembered that I had these plates with bunnies and carrots on them so I decided to do a bunnies and carrots Easter table setting. I found these melamine bunny salad plates at HomeGoods several years ago. They are labeled L N T, LinensNThings. I love the fluffy brown bunny, all the flowers, and the egg shape of the plate.

Fiesta Shamrock Dinner Plate

I love the green color on these Fiesta dinners plates, the color is called Shamrock. (This color has been discontinued.) I have this dinner plate in many different colors and I use them frequently on my plate stacks. I probably bought them at Macy’s online or the Fiesta site online. I have had them for several years. I picked this plate for this table setting because it matches the green on the tablecloth. You can read about what you need to think about when you are buying dinner plates here.

This white charger is my Antique Beaded charger from Williams Sonoma that I bought several years ago. It is often my go to charger when I need a white charger.

Frosted Green Madeline Flatware

Seems like every time I use this frosted green flatware I get questions and comments about it. The pattern is called Madeline Green and I bought it at World Market several years ago. If you google frosted flatware and add the color you are looking for you will find similar sets. I use this green flatware often during Spring and Fall. I think these orange and green cotton napkins probably came from Pier 1 or HomeGoods several years ago. I picked these colors because they matched the tablecloth and they reminded me of carrots. I found the bunny napkin rings on Amazon a few years ago. I wanted a bunny holding a carrot napkin ring and there these were!

I smile every time I see these metal carrot place card holders. I found them on Ebay after doing a Google search for carrot place card holders. They popped right out.

Qualia Green Meridian Goblet

The green goblet on the left came from Macy’s a few years ago. The pattern is called Qualia Glass Meridian. I like the height and the beautiful green color. I think I bought the orange goblets on the right at Ross or T.J. Maxx many years ago. They were some of the first goblets that I bought when I started tablescaping. When I bought them I figured I wouldn’t use them that often but I am surprised at how often they appear on my tablescapes. They are a great match for all the carrots on this tablescape. I have had this bunny figure for many years and I can’t remember where it came from but I think I bought it with a similar one online somewhere. When the kids were living at home I used to do major decorating for all holidays. The bunny is sitting on a green drink dispenser stand that I bought at Pottery Barn many years ago.

When I was searching for bunnies and carrots on Amazon a few years ago I found these two sets of salt and peppers and I couldn’t resist buying them for this tablescape. This one was made by Cosmos Gifts. Hubby says this set is the best part of this tablescape. Lol!

I love the green and orange color combination on this tablescape, it is perfect for Spring!

A Hat's the Luck St. Patrick's Day Tablescape

I started thinking about this tablescape a few months ago and I finally pulled it all together this week. I have done so many shamrock themed St. Patrick’s Day tablescapes that I wanted to do something different this week. I found the leprechaun hat tablecloth at Spoonflower online. I keep saying that their tablecloths are too expensive and I am not going to buy them anymore but no other store has the wide selection of designs that they do. I have been inventorying my collection of vintage tablecloths from the 1940’s and 1950’s lately and rationalizing that my Spoonflower tablecloths will last that long too. Maybe someday some of my future great-granddaughters will fight over them…I can only hope!

I looked for a salad plate with a leprechaun hat on it for weeks with no luck. So I did what I often do and I found small green leprechaun hat cabochons on Etsy to put on a green and white salad plate. These ceramic green and white plates were made by Grace Teaware and I bought them at HomeGoods last year. I have set small items on a salad plate before when I couldn’t find the right plate design to carry out my theme.

These white dinner plates are made by Fiesta and I bought them online somewhere. I think I have Fiesta dinner plates in just about all the colors that they sell now. They introduce a new color every year and I am waiting to buy some dinner plates in their new Lavender color later this month. Fiesta dinner plates are perfect to use as a solid color plate on your plate stack. If you read my blog you will see them often.

Hubby bought these resin chargers at the Dollar Store a couple of years ago and then spray-painted them Kelly Green for me so that I could use them on a Christmas tablescape. This is such an easy and inexpensive way to find a charger to match your tablescape design. I have Dollar Store chargers now in several colors that Hubby has painted for me.

I wanted another set of black flatware that was all black and different from my Ginkgo International LePrix black flatware set to use on my Halloween tablescapes and I found this set a few years ago on sale at Macy’s online. It was made by Lenox and the pattern is called Portola. I love the simple design and the shiny black color. You can read my blog post about what to consider when you are buying flatware here.

I can’t remember where I bought these green cotton napkins but I love the primary green color. When I am looking for tablescaping items to use on a themed tablescape I often search Etsy online. I like to support small family owned businesses and I often find just what I am looking for on that site. I found these small crocheted leprechaun hats there. I just love them! I attached them with masking tape temporarily to a white ceramic napkin ring that I have. To read about the What, Where, and How of napkin rings please click here.

These green glass goblets and iced teas are made by Mosser Glass in the United States. The pattern is called Arlington and the color is Hunter Green. They are really heavy glass and very good quality. I have bought a few pieces at a time over the years online where I can find them at the lowest price. I also have this pattern in red and cobalt blue. I bought these Luminara flameless pillar leprechaun hat candles at Luminara online. I love Luminara candles, the flame on real candles has always made me feel very nervous about fires so I loved it when these flameless candles were invented. Besides, there is no problem with melting wax!

I found this leprechaun hat stack resin statue at HomeGoods and I was so delighted when I saw it. I knew it would be a perfect centerpiece on this tablescape! I love the stacked hats and the gold coins. It adds a bit of whimsy to the table.

I have been thinking about my mother today. She would have loved this tablescape. She liked to entertain and friendships were important to her. Once she made a friend, she kept them for her entire life.

A Golden St. Patrick's Day Tablescape

This St. Patrick’s Day tablescape is a substitute for one that I was planning to do but had to postpone because one of the key elements for it hasn’t arrived yet. I finally gave up and gathered a different theme. I really need to start planning earlier! I came up with the idea for this tablescape just a few days ago. I bought the Martha Stewart tablecloth at HomeGoods a few years ago and this is the first time that I have used it on a tablescape. I really like the gold band on the tablecloth, it is a good match for the gold elements on this tablescape. I bought these Obrarte Shamrock ceramic salad plates on Ebay, a few at a time as I saw them over the years. I think that they are a good match for this tablecloth.

This is my favorite green dinner plate. It was made by Fiesta and the color was called Shamrock. That color has been discontinued now. I use this plate often during the year on tablescapes. I love the bright green color. I probably bought them at Macy’s online, I have had them for a long time.

I found these resin type bright green chargers at Michaels a few years ago I think.

The gold plated flatware on this tablescape was a gift from Hubby a few years ago. I had bought a cheap set of gold flatware several years ago. It was poor quality and the gold started flaking off. You get what you pay for! We found this set on major sale at Macys. It is made by Wallace and it is called Mikasa Duchess Gold. It is heavy and I love the elegant design on the handles. I think these green cotton napkins probably came from Pier 1 or HomeGoods several years ago. I found the plastic gold coins on Amazon a few days ago. I bought these small plastic black kettles probably at Oriental Traders or Amazon online several years ago. I was going to use them on a Witch themed Halloween tablescape but I never did. I remembered that I had them and pulled them out. I found the tiny gold coins on Amazon a few days ago and Hubby packed the kettle for me with paper so that we could just spread them across the surface. I should have bought more! The gold Poly/Carb goblet on the left was made by Le Cadeaux and the pattern is called Fleur. We found them at a gift shop on one of our trips up the California coast a couple years ago but they were really expensive so we only bought a few of them. I had been looking for that color for a long time and after we got home, I found them much cheaper online so I bought a few more. I bought this large ceramic black kettle at Crate and Barrel online several years ago to use at Halloween. I put a towel in it so that I wouldn’t need to fill it with as many gold coins. I found the gold coins on Amazon a few days ago.

I searched for leprechaun with kettle on Amazon a few days ago and these small figures popped out. They were just what I needed for this tablescape!

Daffodils on a Spring Tablescape

This is the perfect tablescape to celebrate Spring just around the corner. I found this Ambesonne Daffodil tablecloth on Amazon a few years ago. Some of my daffodils are coming up in my garden right now. Emma Bridgewater Daffodil Salad Plate

I was looking for a salad plate that had daffodils on it and I found these. I love the colorful design with yellow daffodils and muscari (bluebells). A reader identified the blue flowers for me and I appreciate it! There is a small bug on a leaf at the bottom. I love Emma Bridgewater plates and all her dish designs, take a look. This cream colored earthenware is handmade and hand-painted in England.

Fiesta Daffodil Dinner Plate

I just love this Fiesta plate, the color is called Daffodil. I found them on sale in Salt Lake City at Smith’s when we were there a few years ago.

Villeroy and Boch Verona Blue Charger

This is one of my favorite glass chargers. I bought them when I first started tablescaping. They are a heavy blue glass and I love the color and the tweed like design in the glass. They were made by Villeroy and Boch and the pattern was called Verona. Not sure where I found them online. I have this charger in a few other colors as well. Frosted Green Madeline Flatware

I can’t remember where I bought these blue napkins. The clear acrylic vase napkin rings came from Amazon a few years ago. They are made by Deco-Mate. I love being able to add small flower arrangements to the napkin rings.

I really love these small white vase place card holders. They often appear on one of my Spring tablescapes. I bought them on Amazon a few years ago. I bought the faux flowers at Michaels. I joined a website a couple years ago that sends me a list of all the Estate Sales in my area every weekend with photos of what is for sale. I am always looking for tablescaping items. Hubby bought this blue glass goblet with a clear stem set at an estate sale last year, I wish they had had more for sale. I love this goblet. It is a perfect blue color and I predict I will be using it often. It can be difficult to find yellow glass goblets that don’t have a gold tint to them so when I saw these yellow goblets on Etsy I immediately bought them. I love the color and the size of them. I don’t know who made them or what the pattern is called. I had the faux daffodils and small blue flowers already, they probably came from Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. They are in a large white pottery vase, one of a pair of identical white pottery vases that I inherited from my mother. She received them as a wedding present in 1938.

I love pairing blue and yellow together and daffodils are some of my favorite flowers!
